Description:

Hidden Secrets is the first of five DLC packs for the game. It features new missions, weapons, costumes, and Multiplayer characters, adding another hour of extra gameplay. All content in this pack was previously available as various pre-order bonus content.

It was released to Season Pass holders on December 4, 2012 and became available December 12 for individual purchase at a $4.99 price. This indicates that future DLC packs will cost more than $4.99 individually. The Hidden Secrets Pack was released for Wii U on January 17, 2013.

Missions and Weapons
There are three additional missions accessible through a Harbormaster. Completing each unlocks an additional, exclusive weapon. They can be replayed after completion through the DNA Tracker under Naval Locations

• A Dangerous Secret - Unlocks the Pirate Flintlock and a unique color scheme for The Aquila.
• The Ghost of War - Unlocks Obwandiyag's War Club
• The Lost Mayan Ruins - Unlocks Captain Kidd's Sawtooth Sword.

Costumes
There are two additional costumes. These can be accessed in the basement at the Homestead manor after completing Sequence 6.

• Captain of the Aquila Uniform
• Colonial Assassin Outfit

Multiplayer Characters
Two new multiplayer characters will be added to your roster.

• The Redcoat
• The Sharpshooter
